I love these. They are honestly the best for when I get a cold sore. They keep me from accidentally touching them or spreading it. And it keeps it moisturized so there is less lasting damage to the skin.

Great for cold sores

Over the years, I've tried EVERYTHING on the market for my stress fever blisters. Nothing compares to this stuff. I got that tingly feeling a few weeks ago and immediately put some on. Normally that might slow the blistering process with other products, but this STOPPED it completely. Kept it on overnight and there was NOTHING on my lip! I've shared this with everyone I know who gets these horrible blisters.

Works wonderful, especially if you put it on when you first start feeling one coming up! I put it on like every hour and it never even broke the skin!! Highly recommend. This is my new favorite for taking care of annoying lip blemishes. Seriously, I cannot even express how pleased I am with this stuff!! Buy it!!

FAQs

What makes Lip Clear Lysine+ Ointment different from other cold sore treatments?

There are two primary differences between our cold sore ointment and other products on the market. First, our product is plant-based, and includes L-lysine, which is a well-known amino acid that is beneficial for cold sore sufferers. Second, our product is the only major cold sore treatment that cuts healing time in half and relieves pain. Other products do one or the other, but not both.

How can I get better results when I the Lip Clear Bandage product?

To achieve the best results when using Quantum Health's Lip Clear Invisible Cold Sore Bandage on a cold sore, start by thoroughly cleaning and drying the affected area before applying the bandage. This ensures that the adhesive sticks properly and maintains a clean environment around the cold sore. Carefully follow the instructions provided with the bandages for proper placement. The bandage should be applied as soon as you notice signs of a cold sore outbreak, such as tingling or itching. Keep the bandage on until it detaches naturally, and replace it with a new one as needed. Using the bandage helps protect the sore from external irritants and contamination, and it can also hold medication in place if used in conjunction with Lip Clear Lysine+ cold sore ointment. Additionally, maintain good hygiene, avoid touching or picking at the sore, and consider supplementing your treatment with proper diet and stress management to support overall immune function and promote faster healing

What causes a cold sore?

Cold sores, also known as fever blisters, are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV), predominantly type 1 (HSV-1). The virus is highly contagious and can be transmitted through direct contact with an infected person's skin or saliva. Once HSV infects a person, the virus remains dormant in the body's nerve cells and can reactivate, leading to recurrent outbreaks of cold sores, typically around the lips or mouth.

What are common cold sore triggers?

Common triggers for cold sore outbreaks include stress, fatigue, exposure to sunlight or extreme weather conditions, hormonal changes (such as those during menstruation), weakened immune system, and even skin irritation or injury near the area of infection. Identifying and managing these triggers can help reduce the frequency of outbreaks.

Can cold sores be cured?

There is currently no cure for cold sores. Once infected with the herpes simplex virus, it remains in the body for life. However, there are treatments available that can help reduce the severity and frequency of outbreaks, such as Lip Clear Lysine+ and SuperLysine+.
